How do Knickey undies fit?
Like a dream! So long as you find the perfect size. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing down to the smaller size.
What materials are used to make your undies?
Knickey undies are made out of certified organic cotton and a small amount of elastane for beathability, stretch, and comfort.
How do I wash and care for my Knickey undies?
Keep your Knickeys cheeky clean by washing in cold water and hanging dry to save energy. In a pinch, they can go in the dryer too. For bonus points, environmentally friendly laundry detergents are highly recommended.
Will you offer more sizes?
We got you, girl! We're working on expanding our product offering to include all body shapes and sizes. Sign up for our email list to see what drops next.
When will you release more colors?
On top of our core colors, we have a refresh of limited release hues multiple times a year. If you're looking to color outside the lines, sign up for our mailing list and you'll be the first to know when new hues launch.
Are your undies seamless?
Nope! Knickeys are not seamless, which would be difficult to achieve with cotton. Most of our styles have a self-edge finishing, while our High-Rise Brief has a flat elastic at the leg opening.
What is the status of my order?
Ooh, are we already at the whole "defining our status" phase? Chances are, we've probably already slid into your inbox. You should receive an order confirmation after you've completed checkout. From there, your order should ship within 1-2 business days. We ship Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. Once your order ships, you'll receive another email with a tracking number you can use to stalk your box via USPS
When will out of stock items be available again?
Sometimes the undies fly off the shelves faster than we can make them! Restock dates on out of stock items will vary by product. We recommend signing up for the Back-in-Stock email alert on each product page so you'll be the first to know when the items you've got your eye on are available again.
What if I want to change or cancel my order?
Even the best of us gets a case of buyer's remorse. If you want to cancel or change your order, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible after receiving your order confirmation. We'll do our best to make your changes. However, once an order has been shipped, well, the ship has sailed.
I placed my order but haven't received my confirmation email. What next?
We're not ghosting you, we swear! If you haven't received a confirmation within a few hours of placing your order, please reach out to our customer service team for assistance.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards [Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover], as well as Paypal and Apple Pay.

Knickey is direct-to-consumer, which means we sell our products exclusively through our own platform.

How much is shipping?
For subscription boxes and orders over $60, shipping is always on us! For orders $59 and under, you pay a flat rate of $4 for shipping. Live outside the U.S.? Check out our International FAQs below.
How do I edit my shipping address?
Accidentally ship your undies to your ex's apartment? Don't panic quite yet. Get in touch with our customer service team as soon as possible after receiving your order confirmation. We'll do our best to make your changes. But remember, time is of the essence! If the order has already been processed and shipped, we won't be able to make any edits.
What are your shipping methods and how long do they take?
Knickey orders are shipped via USPS Standard First Class shipping, which is a 2-7 day service within the US. Live outside the US? Check out our International FAQs.
Where do you ship to?
We're currently ship to the US, Canada, Australia and the UK, including PO Boxes, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the USVI. What if something I ordered arrived damaged?
Your peach deserves perfection. If your Knickey undies arrive damaged, please reach out to our customer service team and we'll make it right!
How does my subscription work?
We pop the questions. You get a made-for-you box of Knickeys--handpicked just like our cotton. Choose a subscription plan and we’ll deliver discounted bundles direct to your door.
When will I receive my box?
We'll send you a curated email with our picks within 1 business day after you place your order. Your box will ship as soon as we hear back from you, or after 2 days if we don't. Your next subscription orders will be processed on the same day of your next renewal month.
Can I change the styles and the colors in my subscription?
2 days before your box ships, you’ll receive an email so you can say yay or nay to any of our picks. If you need to change your size, please reach out to us.
Can I return undies from a subscription box?
To help you find the perfect fit, we allow exchanges on your first subscription box. You can try on one pair of each style in your order and request an exchange for a different size or style, no questions asked. After that, you'll approve the contents for each subscription box before it ships, so there won't be any unwelcome surprises. With all that said, we do not accept refunds for subscription boxes.
Can I change the frequency of my orders?
Totally! We want you to find that perfect Knickey rhythm. Just email our Customer team at firstname.lastname@example.org before your box ships and let us know what you would like to change your subscription to.
Can I delay my next ship date?
No problem! Delay by one month as many times as needed. Email our Customer team at email@example.com to push your ship date back.
When am I charged for my subscription?
You'll see your bank account digits dip (just a bit) on the renewal date for your box. We'll ship it out within a few days!
How do I update my information for my subscription?
Moving? New credit card details? Just head to your account and select "Manage Subscription"
to update your details.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Log in to your account to cancel your subscription anytime before your next box is ordered--free of charge. But if you cancel your subscription after payment has been processed for your next box, you'll need to reach out us at firstname.lastname@example.org to cancel that box before it ships. If your box has already shipped, then that ship has sailed.
How does the First Pair Guarantee work?
If you’re a Knickey newbie, you can try one pair of each style and size from your first order and return as needed, no questions asked.
How do I start a Return?
Visit the Knickey Returns Center
to start a return and snag a prepaid shipping label. Just be sure to get your return initiated within 30 days, and once you’ve got your shipping label to send it back within 14 days. When you send your Knickey undies back, only 1 item of each unique style and size should be opened. Any duplicate pairs should be unopened with the belly bands intact. Shipping costs are on us if you'd like to exchange or receive store credit, but if you'd like a refund, a $4 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund total. Do you accept refunds?
Yup! As part of our First Pair Guarantee we'll refund your order minus the cost of shipping. Just remember you can only try on 1 pair of each style and size. For re-orders, we provide refunds only for undies that are unopened with the belly band intact, and are returned to us within 30 days from purchase.
What do you do with the underwear that's been returned?
We don't resell any opened undies--1. Because it's against New York state law and 2. Because no one likes sloppy seconds. Any opened undies returned to us are recycled with our local Recycling partner based in New York City.
How long does it take for a return to be processed?
We process returns and exchanges within 3 business days of receiving the returned package.
When can I expect my payment refund?
For refunded items, payment will be issued to the payment method used at purchase within 7-10 business days from when we process your return. Please note we deduct the cost of return shipping from your refund total.
What is the recycling program and how does it work?
Most old undies end up in the garbage, and eventually a landfill to leach various toxic chemicals into the earth. Unfortunately undies typically aren't even accepted at Goodwill and other used clothing retailers. But 95% of textiles that end up in the trash can actually be recycled. At Knickey, we're helping tackle these tough-to-recycle textiles by partnering with an industrial recycler - so send your ready-to-retire intimates to us and we’ll take care of them, Knickey or not. At this time, we can only accept Recycling from customers within the US.
What items do you accept?
We accept undies, socks, bras, and tights. Got men's and children's items? No problem. Simply indicate how many items you're sending back per category when you request your prepaid shipping label.
What happens to the underwear you take back?
We've partnered with local NYC non-profit, to safely recycle your intimates and divert them from the landfill. Recycled undies are turned into useful secondary textiles including insulation, mattress batting, industrial textiles, and rags. We're also working toward finding new technology partners to provide even more circular solutions.
How do I redeem my Free Pair for Recycling?
Once we receive your unwanted undies, you'll get an email confirming your Knickey Freebie with next purchase! When you want to claim it, simply add some items to your cart and you'll see a checkbox to redeem at the bottom. Please make sure to be logged in, as your free pair is for your bum only! Only 1 Free Pair can be redeemed per order.
Do I get to choose the style of my Recycle Free Pair?
Let us know if you have a specific request, otherwise we'll tuck a pair into your box in your size.

Of course! We'll include your free pair in with your next subscription box.
How much is shipping?
In addition to the US, Puerto Rico and USVI, we now ship to Canada, the UK and Australia! For Canadian customers, shipping is a flat rate of $15 USD, inclusive of all duties & taxes. For UK and Australian customers, shipping costs will vary depending on address, order value and which shipping speed you choose. Shipping, duties and taxes are calculated automatically at checkout.
What are your shipping methods and how long do they take?
We ship out international packages within 3 business days. Due to COVID19 international delivery times may be affected. You'll have tracking information the whole way so you'll always know what's up. Canada: We offer standard shipping, and typically packages arrive within 7-14 days (please note we are seeing additional delays due to COVID19). You’ll receive a tracking number once your package has shipped, but it will take a few days for your tracking number to display a status update. Delivery will be with Canada Post. UK & Australia: You can opt for Standard or Expedited shipping at checkout. Generally speaking, Express shipments should arrive within 1-5 business days, while Standard shipments usually take between 5 to 14 business days. You’ll be notified which carrier will be delivering your package when you receive your tracking information.
Do you accept returns on orders outside the US?
We accept returns to exchange, store credit or refund. All returns must be initiated through our online Returns Centre, and international customers must pay for their own return shipping. Feel free to reach out to our team at email@example.com in case of questions regarding your return.

Where does your cotton come from?
Our certified organic cotton is gathered with care by locals in the fields of Ahmedabad, Gujarat region, India--the organic cotton capital of the world.
Where are Knickey underwear made?
Knickey undies are manufactured in a Fair Trade Certified facility in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu region, India.
What's with the name?
Our name is a playful take on the traditional underpinnings known as Knickers.
Why certified organic cotton?
There's a lot to say about going organic. From seed to shelf, organic cotton is better for the environment, the people who produce it, and the people who wear it. It's grown without the use of genetically modified seeds, toxic pesticides, or harmful fertilizers, which is a plus for biodiversity. Processing organic cotton also saves water and recycles waste. To be certified organic, our cotton must meet fair labor standards at every step in the supply chain and utilize renewable energy sources to reduce overall climate impact. What does it mean to be GOTS certified?
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognized as the world's leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibers. Serious stuff. It defines high-level environmental and social criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain. And it's not a certificate you can simply download and print out. Third-party organizations must certify that organic cotton farms only use approved methods. What is the difference between USDA Organic and GOTS?
GOTS is to textiles, as USDA is to food. They function the same way, but in different product categories. Both are incredibly stringent, and highly respected organic certification standards. Learn more about GOTS.
What are Knickey's social and labor standards?
Knickey is focused on natural, organic, low-impact textiles, not only because they're better for the environment, but also the people who make and use them. What is your packaging made out of?
Not to brag, but we really are the total package. Our packaging is plastic free, and we use recycled content, low impact inks, and biodegradable adhesives. Where possible, our packaging is made with a high percentage of post-consumer recycled waste. Our packaging is designed to be reused in our Recycling Program to make it easy for you to recycle ready-to-retire intimates.
