How do Knickey undies fit?
+

Like a dream! So long as you find the perfect size. Knickey undies are a soft and easy fit. Since they are organic cotton, you may find some minor stretch throughout the day of wear. All our undies are pre-shrunk, so you won’t experience any unexpected shrinkage when washing.

How do Knickey maternity undies fit?

We offer two maternity styles: a Below-Belly Brief, and an Above-Belly Brief. The Below-Belly Brief features a custom criss-cross construction in the front to allow for the expansion of a growing belly comfortably. The unique structure of the panels falls low enough for most c-section incision points, and also allows an ice pack to be tucked snugly between the two layers of fabric for after vaginal labor relief. The Below-Belly Brief is an ideal style for any month of pregnancy as well as postpartum care. The Above-Belly Brief pulls up and over the stomach, providing support, coverage and stay-put security all day long. It features subtle side-seam ruching for ample stretch and expansion with a growing bump. The Above-Belly Brief will be most appreciated once the wearer’s belly pops throughout the later months of pregnancy.

Sizing for maternity undies should follow Knickey’s standard Size Chart - and as a starting point, we recommend going with your typical size as both styles are built to accommodate the changes of a growing belly. However, weight gain and body shape changes are normal during pregnancy - so many opt to size up to account for added comfort and ease of wear.

How do Knickey bralettes fit?

Knickey Bralettes are designed for comfort but built with support for everyday wear. They are double lined in our signature certified organic cotton. While we provide adustable straps and hook and eye closures on a few of our styles, none of them contain padding or uncomfortable underwires. For the full lowdown on each - visit the Fitting Room.

How do Knickey socks fit?

Knickey socks are lightweight and snug with a ribbed cuff for a secure fit, making them ideal for all-day comfort with any shoe. They have a contoured construction for an ergonomically engineered fit and a reinforced heel and toe for extra duarablity.

Yarns used to craft our socks are single ply and a heavier denier for a smoother finish. This aids in maintaining smoothness throughout and slows down pilling and shedding from wash and wear.

What is the First Pair Guarantee?

We’re obsessed with fit because innerwear has zero room for compromise, and our range of styles meet a variety of preferences. To figure out what fit works best for your body, we created the best return policies out there to help you find your perfect fit.

Undies

With our First Pair Guarantee, try one pair of each unique style and size you order to see what you think, and return risk free if needed. Just be sure to keep any duplicate pairs you order unopened and unworn in case you do need to make a swap.

We recommend wearing each unique style of undies you’re trying for a full day in order to understand how they fit before wearing and washing any duplicate pairs of the same style and size.

Bralettes

Make sure you're skin is clean when trying on, free from any deodorant, self-tanner, lotion, oils, makeup or fragrance.

Socks

Only unopened socks may be returned for any reason, so please be sure to keep socks in their original packaging.

What materials are used to make your undies and bralettes?

Knickey undies and bralettes are made out of certified organic cotton and a small amount of elastane for beathability, stretch, and comfort.

What materials are used to make your socks?
+

Knickey Socks are made from 76% Certified Organic Cotton, 22% Polyamide, and 2% elastane. While we always strive to use natural fibers first, we also believe that durability is key to a product’s sustainability.

Blending polyamide and elastane with organic cotton helps our socks stand up to more wear and stretch, which means you can hang onto them for longer. Plus, using a small amount of polyamide helps them maintain their shape for all-day comfort that stays in place.

How do I wash and care for my Knickeys?

Undies: Keep your Knickeys cheeky clean by washing in cold water and hanging dry to save energy. In a pinch, they can go in the dryer too. For bonus points, earth-friendly detergents are highly recommended.

Bralettes: Wash in cold water and always hang dry to save energy and extend the life and wear of your Bralette.

Socks: Wash in cold or hot water, and tumble dry on medium heat.

When will you release more colors?

Are your undies seamless?
+

Nope! Knickeys are not seamless because that is difficult to achieve with cotton. Most of our styles have a self-edge finishing, while our Briefs have elastic at the leg, that lays flat.

Do you offer discounts?

Sure do! If you’re new to Knickey, we offer a one-time discount to new customers upon subscribing to our email list.

Once you have a Knickey account, you can also earn discounts through our Rewards program, Top Drawer Rewards. Skip down to the Rewards & Referral section to learn how to earn points and redeem those rewards.

We also offer discounts on undies when you bundle! Mix and match any combination of styles, colors and even sizes to achieve savings when you purchase 3, 5, 10 or 20 pairs. Please note Maternity Undies cannot be counted towards undie bundles and are excluded from our undie bundle pricing.

Please note only one discount code can be used per purchase; bundle discounts can not be combined with any other discount code. Bundle discounts will be automatically applied in your cart before checkout, and all other discount codes can be applied at checkout.

Can I send a gift receipt?

Yep! Head to http://knickey.loop.giftto set up return specific to your gift recipient, and create a QR code to share with them. Once the QR code is scanned, they'll be able to return their gift to exchange or store credit.

What is the status of my order?

Chances are, we've probably already slid into your inbox. You should receive an order confirmation after you've completed checkout. From there, your order should ship within 1-2 business days. We ship Monday-Friday, excluding holidays. Once your order ships, you'll receive another email with a tracking number you can use track your order.

When will out of stock items be available again?
+

Restock dates on out of stock items will vary by product. We recommend signing up for the Back-in-Stock email alert on each product page so you'll be the first to know when the items you've got your eye on are available again.

What if I want to change or cancel my order?

If you want to change or cancel your order, it's important to act fast! You can cancel your order directly on the order confirmation page by selecting the order action "Cancel", or by going to your account. You can also reach out to our team at hello@knickey.com and we'll do our best to make your requested changes, however, once an order has been shipped, we are not able to process any changes to your order.

What if something I ordered arrived damaged?

Payments

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards [Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover], as well as Paypal, Apple Pay, and Shop Pay.

What is the option to pay in installments on Shop Pay?
+

When checking out with Shop Pay, you now have the option to pay now or later. Paying in installments on Shop Pay allows you to split your purchase amount into 4 equal, biweekly installment payments. For installment orders that are paid for in monthly payments, interest rates from 10 to 36% APR apply. In some instances, your first payment is due when you make your purchase; otherwise, your first payment is due 2 weeks after your purchase. Please note, gift cards cannot be purchased with Shop Pay Installments.

How much is shipping?

For US orders over $75, shipping is always on us! For orders under $75, shipping is a flat rate of $5. If you need your order in the knick of time, you can upgrade to expedited shipping for an additional cost, which is calculated at checkout. Live outside the U.S.? How do I edit my shipping address?

Time is of the essense! Get in touch with our customer service team as soon as possible after receiving your order confirmation. We'll do our best to make your changes. If the order has already been processed and shipped, we won't be able to make any changes after the fact.

What are your shipping methods and how long do they take?
+

All US orders are shipped via USPS. Please allow 1-2 business days for orders to be fulfilled. Orders that qualify for Free and Flat Rate shipping are mailed with USPS Standard First Class Mail, which is a 3-7 day service. If you've opted for expedited shipping, your order will ship via USPS Priority Mail, which is a 2-3 day service.

Please note that fulfillment and shipping times may be extended during high volume periods such as holidays, sales, restocks and new product launches. Once a package is handed off to the shipping carrier, Knickey has no control over the delivery timeline.

Returns & Exchanges

What are your Return Policies?
+

We want you to find the right fit! If you need to make a swap, no problem! We offer returns to exchange, store credit, and refund within 30 days of purchase.

Undies

With our First Pair Guarantee, if you’re a Knickey newbie, you can try one pair of each unique style and size from your first order and return your First pairs as needed, no questions asked within 30 days of purchase. We recommend wearing each unique style of undies your trying for a full day in order to understand how they fit before wearing and washing any duplicate pairs of the same style and size.

If you ordered any duplicate pairs of the same style and size, these pairs must remain unopened, unworn and unwashed in their belly band packaging in order to also qualify for a return. Different colors of the same style are considered duplicate pairs.

Bralettes

In order to return a Bralette, please keep the hangtag on. Bralettes should not have any noticeable signs of wear - from deodorant, oils, fragrance, lotion, tanner or makeup - in order to also qualify for a return.

Socks

Only unopened socks may be returned for any reason, so please be sure to keep socks in their original packaging.

How do I start a Return?
+

Start by reviewing our Return Policies to ensure that you’re eligible to return, and then visit the Knickey Returns Center to start an exchange, return to store credit or refund. Once you submit your request, we'll send you a prepaid USPS shipping label for you to send back the goods. We cover the return shipping for exchanges and returns to store credit, but if you’d prefer a refund, return shipping will be $4.

What are my Return options?

We make returns easy breezy. You’ll select which return option you prefer for any item in your order that you’re returning, and you can mix and match multiple return options.

Exchange 

If you’re interested in trying out a different style or size, you can submit an exchange! Once your return package has been handed off to the USPS and is marked in transit, your new exchange order will be created. All exchanges are even exchanges, meaning previous discounts are honored.

Instant Exchange 

Rather than sending your items back to us before your exchange order is created, with an Instant Exchange, you can submit an exchange request and keep the items from your original order until you decide what fits best! This allows you to secure the inventory immediately and ensures that the items you want are in stock.

After you’ve selected the items from your original order that you would like to exchange, simply select ‘Instant Exchange’ on the ‘review your return’ page. From there, you will be prompted to enter your credit card information to place a temporary hold on your card, and your exchange order will be created immediately.

Once your original return items are in transit back to us, the hold will be removed from your credit card. Please note, if your return items are not sent back within 14 days, your card will be charged for the cost of the new exchange order. If you would not like to add your credit card information, you can submit a regular return request.

Shop Now Return

Our 'Shop Now' feature allows you to use your return credit right away to purchase new Knickey products. If you purchased undies but want to try out a Bralette instead, you can use Shop Now and pay the difference upfront rather than requesting a return and placing a new order on our website, or add additional items. Your new order will be processed as an exchange once your return items are in transit back to us.

Return to Store Credit

Once you’ve submitted your return request and your return package is handed off to the USPS, you’ll receive an email confirmation with the details of your store credit. Store credit does not expire and can be used toward any future purchase. 

Return to Refund

We offer returns to refund within 30 days of purchase under our First Pair Guarantee.  Once we receive your return, we will process your refund within 3 business days. 

For refunded items, payment will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days of processing your return. Please note, a $4 return shipping fee will be deducted from the refund total.

Can I change my Return request?

If you need to edit your return request after its been submitted, please reach out to hello@knickey.com and we’ll get you sorted!

Do you accept refunds?
+

Yup! Our First Pair guarantee covers trying on 1 pair of each unique style and size of undies in your order, risk-free for a refund, minus a $4 return shipping fee, which is deducted from your refund total.

Outside of these First pairs, only unopened, unworn, and unwashed items (including Bras) are eligible to be returned within 30 days. The bellyband packaging on duplicate pairs must be intact, and the underwear should not have been tampered with in order to be refunded. If duplicate pairs have been tried on, we will not be able to offer a refund on those pairs.

Bralettes that show visible signs of wear (from makeup, oils, lotions, deodorant), will also not be able to be refunded.

Any items that violate our return policies cannot be sent back to a customer. Please note that shipping costs on the original order are not eligible to be refunded. All returns must be placed through our Returns Center.

How long does it take for a return to be processed?

We try our best to process returns and exchanges within 5 business days of receiving the returned package.

What do you do with the underwear that's been returned?
+

We don't resell any opened undies, because, 1. your undies are just for you, and 2., it's against New York State law. Any opened undies returned to us are recycled through our Recycling Program.

Should I send in items for Recycling with my Return?
+

Nope! If you are Recycling with us, please send your items in separately from any Returns, using the pre-paid shipping label provided from your Recycling request. Returns and Recycling are sent to different locations in the US, and as our systems are separate and entirely automated, we are unable to provide Free Pair credit for Recycling items sent back within a Return.

Recycle

What is the recycling program and how does it work?
+

Most old undies end up in the garbage, and eventually a landfill to leach various toxic chemicals into the earth. Unfortunately undies typically aren't even accepted at Goodwill and other used clothing retailers. But 95% of textiles that end up in the trash can actually be recycled. At Knickey, we're helping tackle these tough-to-recycle textiles by offering a first of it’s kind Recycling Program - so send your ready-to-retire intimates to us and we’ll take care of them, Knickey or not.

To get started, fill out our Recycle Form indicating how many items you’re sending back, and complete the checkout to receive your label. Recycling labels are $5 each, and once you’ve checked out your label will be emailed to you, and can be found in your Knickey account. Recycling labels are valid for 28 days, at which point they will be cancelled. If you do not use your label in that time frame and would like a refund for your label fee, please reach out to hello@knickey.com and we’ll get you sorted.

At this time, we can only accept Recycling from customers within the US. For every package recycled, you’ll receive 300 rewards points added to your Knickey account - equivalent to 15% off on your next purchase!

What’s changed about the Recycling Reward?

We’ve updated our Recycling reward to be a part of our newly launched loyalty program, Top Drawer Rewards! Recycling with Knickey is now one of a few ways to earn rewards points towards discounts. Any Recycling packages sent back after August 15th, 2022 will now earn 300 rewards points to your Knickey account - equivalent to a 15% off on a future purchase. For more info on our Rewards Program, scroll down to our Rewards FAQs.

What if I still have Free Pairs that I haven’t redeemed yet?

If you have existing Recycle Free Pairs on your account, you can still redeem these free pairs until the end of 2022. In order to redeem your Free Pair, please make sure you are logged into your Knickey account. Once you have at least one item in your cart, simply choose your Free Pair from our selected inventory at the top of your cart - no discount code necessary. The Free Pair will be in the size listed. Please note we cannot accommodate additional style and color requests for Free Pairs at this time.

Need to change your size? Head over to ‘Preferences’ in your account and choose the size you would prefer. Only 1 Free Pair can be redeemed per order.

If you do not redeem your Free Pairs by January 2023, we will convert your Free Pairs to rewards points. 300 points will be added to your account for each Free Pair you have remaining on your account.

What if I’d prefer Rewards Points now instead of my Free Pair?

No problem! Reach out to hello@knickey.com and we’re happy to convert your Free Pairs to 300 rewards points right away. Similarly, if you received Rewards points but would prefer a Recycle Free Pair, we can also update your reward.

What items do you accept?
+

We accept undies, socks, bras, tights, and cloth face masks from any brand. Got men's and children's items? No problem! Simply indicate how many items you're sending back per category when you submit your Recycle Request.

How much can I send in?
+

You can send up to 200 items in your recycling package. Please note a minimum of 5 items is required in order to receive a pre-paid Recycling label.

What happens to the underwear you take back?
+

We work with a recycling partner who sorts through all of the items - yes, every single sock! - and grades the materials based on wear and material composition. These grades determine if the material can be reused or recycled. This process ensures that everything reaches its best secondary use and avoids the landfill. Your old stuff could become shoddy for insulation, cleaning rags, or even new yarn!

How do I redeem my Free Pair for Recycling?

You will receive an email confirming that you are eligible to redeem your Knickey Freebie with your next purchase! In order to redeem your Free Pair, please make sure you are logged into your Knickey account. Once you have at least one item in your cart, simply choose your Free Pair from our selected inventory at the top of your cart - no discount code necessary. The Free Pair will be in the size listed. 

Need to change your size? Head over to ‘Preferences’ in your account and choose the size you would prefer. Only 1 Free Pair can be redeemed per order.

Do I get to choose the style of my Recycle Free Pair?

Rewards & Referral

What is Knickey’s Rewards Program, Top Drawer Rewards?
+

Knickey’s rewards program allows customers to earn points towards discounts on future purchases. You must have a Knickey account in order to become a Rewards member and earn points. You can earn points by shopping, recycling, referring a friend, and more! If you’re a new member, we’ll also credit you with points for any purchases made within the prior three months. Please note the purchase of Recycling Labels are not eligible to earn points. To see a full breakdown of how to earn points, head to your Rewards account page.

I made a purchase, when are my points available?

Once you make a purchase your eligible rewards points will be pending for 14 days, in case you decide to start a refund. After the 14 day approval period, you’ll receive an email notifying you that your points can now be redeemed. If you do decide to make a return, your pending points will be voided.

Points earned from actions like Leaving a Review or Following on Instagram are available right away. Points earned from Recycling are available once your Recycling package is in transit back to us.

How do I use my points for a discount?

Head to the Rewards section on your Knickey account. You’ll see your eligible rewards points at the top. At the bottom of the page will be discount voucher options, with the options you are eligible for highlighted. To redeem a voucher, click on the discount, copy the discount code and add that code when you are on the checkout page.

Can I combine my referral discount with undie bundle discounts?

Unfortunately not! Only 1 discount can be used per order, so applying your discount from Top Drawer Rewards will replace any bundle discounts that are of a lower value.

Do my rewards expire?
+

Your rewards points are valid for 1 year from the time of issuing. After 1 year, those points will expire. Have a question about your points? Reach out to our team at hello@knickey.com for help.

How do I refer a friend?
+

Easy! Head over to your Knickey account, and send your unique referral code to your friend or family member. Your friend must be a new Knickey customer, and they’ll receive your referral with a code for 15% off when they spend over $50. For each successful referral you make, you’ll be issued 300 Knickey rewards points to your account, equivalent to a 15% discount.

How do I know if someone used my referral code & when can I get my discount?

Once your friend has made a purchase over $50, your 300 rewards points will be pending for 14 days, in case your friend decides to start a refund. After the 14 day approval period, you’ll receive an email notifying you of your successful referral, and you’ll receive your points, equal to a 15% discount.

What happens if a friend I referred cancels or returns their order for a refund?

Unfortunately, your pending points will be canceled and will be removed from your account.

What countries do you ship to?

In addition to the US, Puerto Rico and the USVI, we now ship to Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom! How much is shipping?

Shipping, duties and taxes for your international order are calculated automatically at checkout. Shipping costs will vary depending on address, order value and which shipping speed you choose.

Why do I pay duties and taxes?
+

Duties, taxes and fees are collected by each country’s customs authority. Things such as the order value, country of origin and trade agreements determine these charges, and we calculate these fees automatically at checkout so there are no unwanted surprises when you get your goods.

What are your shipping methods and how long do they take?

We ship out international packages within 3 business days. Due to COVID19 international delivery times may be affected. You'll have tracking information the whole way so you'll always know what's up. You can opt for Standard or Expedited shipping at checkout. Generally speaking, Express shipments should arrive within 1-5 business days, while Standard shipments usually take between 5 to 14 business days in transit. You’ll be notified which carrier will be delivering your package when you receive your tracking information.

Do you accept returns on orders outside the US?

We accept returns to exchange, store credit or refund. All returns must be initiated through our online Returns Center, and international customers must pay for their own return shipping. Feel free to reach out to our team at hello@knickey.com in case of questions regarding your return.

Can I take part in the Recycling Program?

Sustainability

Where are Knickeys made?
+

Knickey undies and bralettes are manufactured in a Fair Trade Certified facility in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, India.

Knickey socks are produced in a GOTS certified factory in Istanbul, Turkiye.

Where does your cotton come from?
+

The certified organic cotton for our undies and bralettes is gathered with care by locals in the fields of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India--the organic cotton capital of the world.

The cotton for our socks comes from Sanlıurfa and Aydin in Turkiye.

Why certified organic cotton?
+

There's a lot to say about going organic. From seed to shelf, organic cotton is better for the environment, the people who produce it, and the people who wear it. It's grown without the use of genetically modified seeds, toxic pesticides, or harmful fertilizers, which is a plus for biodiversity. Processing organic cotton also saves water and recycles waste. To be certified organic, our cotton must meet fair labor standards at every step in the supply chain and utilize renewable energy sources to reduce overall climate impact. Finally, at the end of its life cycle, organic cotton safely biodegrades.

What does it mean to be GOTS certified?

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognized as the world's leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibers. It defines high-level environmental and social criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain. And it's not a certificate you can simply download and print out. Third-party organizations must certify that organic cotton farms only use approved methods. Knickey adheres to the highest standards out there for earth-friendly production, process safety, and customer health.

What are Knickey's social and labor standards?

Our factories are Fair Trade certified to ensure everyone involved in the production of Knickey undies is treated with the respect and care they deserve. That means living wages, safe working conditions, the right to unionize, and absolutely no toxic substances that could be harmful to people’s health.

What is your packaging made out of?

Our packaging is 100% plastic free, and we use recycled content, low impact inks, and biodegradable adhesives. Where possible, our packaging is made with a high percentage of post-consumer recycled waste. Our boxes are made from Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI) certified suppliers who prioritize the preservation of natural ecosystems and prevent deforestation.

Is Knickey carbon neutral?

Yup! Because we’re committed to climate action, we offset shipping on every order. We also offset all the emissions from transporting our undies from India to our warehouse in NYC, and work with suppliers who offset the emissions from our manufacturing operations.

How does Knickey ship carbon neutral?

Knickey purchases carbon offsets to “neutralize” the unavoidable emissions that happen when your order is sent from our warehouse to your doorstep. Carbon offsets are payments made to projects that explicitly sequester or reduce the equivalent amount of CO2 emissions. We partner with Cloverly to calculate the estimated carbon emissions from your order, based on the weight of your package and the distance your order travels from our warehouse. Then we contribute to vetted offsetting projects to ensure that an equivalent amount of CO2 is removed from the atmosphere. Some of these projects include building wind turbines in Turkey, or capturing emissions from dairy farms in New York. And don’t worry, we take on the cost of offsetting.
